TAJWID (PART 2) MIM & NUN SYADDAH Syaddah/Tasydid Sign Wajibul ghunnah -  واجب الغنة The obligatory recitation of "ghunnah" is the recitation that must be recited that occurs in the letters nun and mim which means in 2 words for 2 "harakat". Example :   فَا ِنَّ اللّٰهَ  (Surah Al-Maidah : 3)   فَكُلُوا مِمَّ ا أَمْسَكْنَ     (Surah Al-Maidah : 4)      RULES OF MAD 1.)  Madd asli   مد أصلي - This is the madd without which the letter cannot exist. It occurs when any of the three letters ( ا و ي ) of of this madd is neither preceded by a hamzah ( ء ) nor followed by a hamzah ( ء ) or sukun. It is read with two "harakat" long. TAJWID (PART 1) INTRODUCTION Tajwid on language, which is to beautify and refine.   In terms of the science of Tajwid is to remove every letter from its makhraj and fulfill the rights of every letter whether the original or the future.   Prophet Musa faced Pharaoh, a tyrannical and cruel King. Musa himself was an adopted son of Pharaoh, after being washed away in the Nile. And found by Pharaoh's wife which is also known as Asiah. Over the time, Musa grew into adulthood. He started doing Syiar. But Pharaoh rejected the teachings of the Prophet Musa, and even wanted to kill him until he had to run, leaving Pharaoh and his army until his stuck in the red sea. Prophet Ibrahim,who is remind ourselves of the story behind Hajj.Ibrahim dreamt that Allah wished for him to sacrifice his son Isma’il. From his reccuring dream, Prophet Ibhraim (as) knew that this was a command from Allah Almighty. As an obedient servant of Allah, Ibrahim took his son Isma’il to Mount Arafat with a knife and rope in preparation for the sacrifice. He told young Isma’il of his intentions but when he raised the knife, Allah intervened and spoke to Ibrahim: he was not to sacrifice his son. This had merely been a test of his faith, devotion and submission to Allah.
